Kohen’s Journey So Far

For two years, we took Kohen to multiple doctors, expressing concerns about his health. Each time, Kyla was dismissed as overreacting, overprotective, and obsessive about minor issues. Despite this, she tracked his symptoms diligently.

After moving to Oklahoma, Kohen’s symptoms reappeared, and one Thursday, they flared up worse than ever. We took him to urgent care, where they finally listened to us and gave Kohen an X-ray.

What they found was shocking—a 10cm grapefruit-sized mass in his chest. A simple X-ray revealed what we had feared for so long. We were heartbroken and angry that it took so long to be taken seriously.
